Thanks for the overview Would love someone to list similar or second place deals on the basic pacakage though. (I like to have options and prefer some establishments over others.)
Oooo - another request, AgentK... have The Checkout do a BF roadmap for dummies, specifically addressing in-person vs. online. Doorbuster traditionally meant in-person, but I read that every store defines it differently now. E.G. DOORBUSTER means in-person for NON redcard holders. For redcard holders it means, 'deals available on Wed before thanksgiving at 6pm. '
At least according to my phone call which was outsourced to the Philippines where the rep didn't understand the term 'doorbuster'. This is all pretty confusing
The article for cheapest 55" TVs lists the TCL as having 120hz display, but it's not native 120hz - it's effective 120hz which means native 60hz with their Clear Motion Index frame interpolation to make it seem like 120hz. In any case, it's still an excellent TV and I highly recommend it - just not sure telling folks it's fake 120hz is very helpful - just don't mention it at all.
What would be great aside from a cheapest list would be a list of best deals. I'd love to see DSLR deals for DSLRs that are expensive, but a great price
