Deals of the Week… Going, Going, Almost Gone! (10/18/13 Edition)

By on October 18, 2013

Most great deals don’t last that long on Ben’s Bargains. That’s why signing up for Deal Alerts is your best bet (and The Driver recommends them).

Here are 10 deals of the week (Oct. 12 to Oct. 18) that you really liked or we thought were pretty good… and even better, are actually still valid, but not for long:

1. Don’t Wait to Use this Code

Staples has a $15 off $50 code going on now, and it applies to tech products. Some great to good deals can be had, but a lot of hot items (like this 2TB portable drive for $85) are already out of stock. Here are some other good ones we’ve uncovered.

Expiration: 10/20.

2. Affordable Home Theater Got More Affordable

ZVOX is a small American company that’s made a big splash in home theater recently, in large part due to its affordable but high-quality SoundBase pedestal sound bars. Right now, the company is celebrating its 10th anniversary by taking $50 to $100 off its entire line of SoundBase speakers. Right now, the popular ZVOX SoundBase 555 Dolby Digital Speaker is $350 shipped with special code (normally $400).

Expiration: Limited time.

3. WNBA Champions

You can pick up a refurbished Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx K3011 64GB Windows 8 11.6″ Tablet at Newegg for $220 shipped after rebate and code. The Lynx has proven to be a very popular tablet, and the lowest price we’ve seen it brand-new has been $300.

Expiration: 10/18.

4. Stay Away from the Microwave

For those of us who eat way too many frozen dinners, don’t pass up the Good Eating’s Best of the Best: Great Recipes of the Past Decade from the Chicago Tribune Test Kitchen eBook for free at Amazon.

Expiration: Limited time.

5. Forever 16

If you or someone you know wears Aeropostale, right now is a good time to get some cheap stuff while it lasts. Get an extra 30% off clearance with special code and (this is the rare part) two-day shipping for free when you use PayPal. These polo shirts are just $7.69 shipped. Now you don’t have to go to the mall to get your mall clothes.

Expiration: 10/20.

6. Nice Pants

If you, ahem, skew older, Dockers also has a rare deal going on right now, which is 30% off all orders plus free shipping. There’s usually a minimum order requirement for their sales, typically $30. You can get the same deal at sister company Levi’s.

Expiration: 10/21.

7. Mirrorless, Mirrorless

Canon’s first mirrorless camera, the Canon EOS M, is on sale at Newegg for $305 with free shipping. You’ll usually find this on sale for around $340 to $350.

Expiration: 10/19.

8. Are You a LEGO?

No, Kre-O toys are not LEGOs, they just look a lot like them. However, Kre-O has certain licenses like Star Trek, the Transformers, and yes, even Battleship. The Kre-O Battleship USS Missouri is on sale for $31 shipped at Amazon, and it’s gotten a lot of good reviews. Compared to LEGO, it’s a pretty good deal for 545 pieces.

Expiration: Limited time.

9. Get Ready for 2014 Resolutions

Bowflex is selling its Bowflex TreadClimber TC10 Cardio Machine and Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE Home Gym together for $1899 shipped. To get both, you’d have to pay nearly $3,800 at Amazon, and the sale price is $300 less than the same boffo offer Bowflex had last year.

Expiration: 10/23.

10. Best Bundle Ever

Amazon has bundled Madden NFL 25 and the Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor for $33 with free shipping. This combo defies explanation, and that’s why it’s awesome. Besides, the game itself normally costs $60, so why not get the price shaved off? (Boooooo!)

Expiration: Limited time.
