Famous Alpha Males Transformed into Typography

By on May 5, 2013

Carefully drafted with beautiful simplicity, artist Stuart Jackson has developed a series of minimalist posters depicting a collection of famous alpha males in typographic form. Each poster takes something in particular about the famous alpha male and integrates it into the design of the first letter of their name. For instance, Tom Selleck’s poster is designed using his infamous mustache as the top of the letter T. However, the letter also looks like a palm tree in the design; a nod to Selleck’s work on Magnum P.I.

There are a handful of popular British alpha males in the mix as well, but the majority are a mixture of historical people, movie characters and musicians. You may even happen to see a Muppet and a Greek god in the mix. Jackson is selling the prints on ArtFlakes here in art prints, poster prints and greeting cards.
