13 Amusing Photos of LEGO Star Wars Characters
By Mike Flacy on May 3, 2013
The combination of Star Wars characters and LEGOs is definitely a popular mixture. Just look at the wildly popular LEGO Death Star set, a 3,800 piece behemoth that likely takes hours upon hours to complete. Or perhaps the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon, another fan favorite. You will also see spikes on the price of discontinued sets on eBay in addition to scarce supply of existing sets around the holidays.
It’s no surprise that fans of the small plastic toys and the Star Wars universe have posted thousands of pictures on the Internet with famous characters in various poses as well as real-life situations. Check out some of our favorite LEGO Star Wars images below:

I bought my 7 year old future step son a Star Wars lego model of some random space ship from episodes I II or III because I could not afford the Millennium Falcon, which I guess has to be my favorite. But my step sons favorite WILL be the ‘X’ wing fighter because it comes with R2D2. And it seems that it’s the characters that matter more than anything to the younger generation. I say WILL BE because I hope to give this prize to him in June when I next get to see him…He lives in the UK.
Thank you Bens Bargains for being such a cool place to visit every day of the week.

I love the first image with Chewy and the stormtroopers. Very dynamic scene with all the troopers flying through the air! Stormtroopers are the best.

I like the LEGO Star Wars Death star because it offers a wide variety of characters and great details. It offers a great selection of scenes from he movie and has more than one of the same character for each movie scene so you can have them at different sections of the Death star. All in all, the Death star is just an amazing set.

Boba Fett (from Lego kit 8097). It was a significant improvement over the previous figure that came with the much smaller, original Lego Slave 1 (7144). Love Fett due to his bad*** armor, assortment of weapons and reputation in the SW Galaxy. That said, my favorite *kit* is probably either the B-Wing Fighter (10227) due to it being a nice, displayable “model” or the Death Star (10188) because of it’s size and interactive features.

Gotta be the republic dropship with AT-OT. That thing could also ‘lift’ a turbo tank or an at-te walker.
Plus this thing could hold a whole army of clone troops for your battles.

My favorite set has to be the Millennium Falcon (7965). Why, because it was the most celebrated ship in the first Star Wars movie, Episode IV. It contains Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Ben Kenobi, Princess Leia Organa and Darth Vader along with various weapons. JUST AWESOME!

It’s one of the oldest LEGO Star Wars sets out there, but 7110 (Landspeeder) takes the cake for me. It’s got the awesome Luke and Obi-Wan minifigs. I especially like it that Luke is the Mark Hamill version and Obi-Wan is the Alec Guinness version! Old school rocks!

Lego 7965 Millennium Falcon. You get a sturdy iconic ship and all main characters of Star Wars (some call it EpIV: A New Hope). If you need the droids to complete the cast, 9490 Droid Escape is very affordable at $15.

Mini Millennium Falcon set number 4488. It is very basic but because of the fact that it is easy to build, it was played with the most. It has been blown to bits in many a battle. Then you just quickly reassemble and do it again.

My favorite is R2D2. I remember when the original movie came out and I went to Ann Arbor, MI to see it on opening night. It was a big deal, and I was hooked…..We even stopped on the way home to celebrate Star Wars style, and that was a night I’ll never forget.

Mini-Figs. All Mini-Figs. I keep a drawer 1/2 full at work and constantly swap parts and make dioramas on my desk.

Gots to be the Death Star. Who wouldn’t want a Lego replica of a space station that could destroy a planet??

If you like putting these things together, then it has to be the Death Star set because it’s gonna take a while.

I’m jealous of all of the kids out there. I’m over 30 and when I was a kid, a huge Lego fan, there was not any Star Wars themed sets. The X-wing is by far the best. I still remember making one out of random multi-colored Legos. It was by far my finest Lego work. I might have to build it again, just to compare the two.

I couldnt agree more, we had to abuse our imagination to build an almost unrecognizable item, and imaging that it was a tie fighter or an x-wing… Darth Maul was my favorite because he died amazingly.

The Cloud City set #10123. You get all the main people (except Chewie for some unknown reason) Luke, Leia, Han, Vader – plus Boba Fett and Lando! You also have the carbonite scene and the Luke/Vader “I am your father” scene all in one set!

The very first Landspeeder set will always be a fave – you get Luke and Obi-Wan and a classic vehicle in an almost vintage-y blocky style.
