Designed to combine elements from Darth Vader’s helmet and gloves as well as a TIE Fighter and the Imperial crest, this horrifically overpriced wristwatch requires a $2,500 down payment just for the privilege of paying another $26,000 on delivery. But hey, they are throwing in some TIE Fighter cufflinks with a watch that costs more than some midsize sedans.

$4,500 to $6,500 LEGO 1st Edition Millennium Falcon

Regularly selling on eBay (or Amazon) for several thousand dollars, the original LEGO Millennium Falcon sports more than 5,000 parts with sections such as a rotating radar dish, extending boarding ramp and detachable cockpit with all the original trilogy mini-figures. While the new version is a far less complicated build, it’s also about 3% the current cost of the original version.

Rated for children ages four and up, the NERF lightsabers are a simple toy designed to replicate sabers carried by Luke, Yoda and Darth Vader. Be aware that reviews indicate the Nerf material breaks easily. Shoot like a Stormtrooper: 5 Best Star Wars NERF Toys

It’s easy to look past the Stormtroopers of the Star Wars universe with your nose tipped up, an expectation of buffoonery and inadequacy brimming from your nostrils. They’re essentially space lemmings, even worse so than the droids due to their supposed conscience. Choice is a funny thing. This Stormtrooper Star Wars figure, for instance, chose to be an insane badass that could probably take down an armada of Republic forces all by himself.

Square Enix, normally a maker of video games and other related media, is starting up line of variant Star Wars  figures. Back in December the company revealed the first of the set, a Darth Vader with a certain Japanese warrior lean. He’s due out sometime in May for about $100, according to The Toyark.

The Stormtrooper, on the other hand, is due out in July at the same price point, as is this variant Boba Fett.

It seems if you were already a ruthless and feared individual, you need a ragged cape to up your game. The Stormtroopers, on the other hand, just needed to get that dopey expression off their collective faces.

At 11 inches tall apiece, each figure comes with a number of accessories. According to The Toyark, “The Boba Fett will include interchangeable hands, a heavy blast, a pistol, knives, flamethrower effect, jetpack effects and a figure stand. The Stormtrooper will come with interchangeable hands, a heavy blaster, a blaster pistol, a pistol effect piece and a figure stand.”

The Dark Vader figure “features numerous accessories including a lightsaber, a lightsaber with movement effect, interchangeable hands, a left hand with a special effect, and a figure stand.”

While Star Wars figures are nothing new, we’ve been seeing an uptick in superhero-related products in the past few years. I’m sure you can guess why. Just last month we ran a piece on some sweet Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron figures from Kotobukiya and Hot Toys, in anticipation of the upcoming film.

Stormtrooper, code name ‘Come At Me Bro’, reporting for duty

Created by U.S. based artist Jeff Bennett, this collection of artwork combines the hotel-wall fodder that is Thomas Kinkade art with awesome elements ripped from the Star Wars universe. Seen romping through serene countryside, Star Wars characters and objects depicted within the art include Stormtroopers, AT-AT walkers, a landspeeder, TIE Fighters, a Star Destroyer and a slobbering Rancor.

As Seen on the Internets: Star Wars and Thomas Kinkade Collide

Developed by artists Jon Bolerjack and JJ Kirby, the duo created a series of illustrations that places five characters from Marvel’s Avengers in the Star Wars universe. Working with the Empire to battle Republic scum, the characters have been placed in armor designs styled after the classic Stormtrooper. Avengers featured in the redesigns include the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hawkeye.

In addition to The Avengers series, you should also check out Bolerjack’s DeviantArt page to view head-shot illustrations of other Marvel and DC characters in Stormtrooper garb. Some of his other illustrations include Batman Beyond, Apocalypse, Archangel, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Punisher, Wolverine, Venom and Green Goblin. The combination of Star Wars characters and LEGOs is definitely a popular mixture. Just look at the wildly popular LEGO Death Star set, a 3,800 piece behemoth that likely takes hours upon hours to complete. Or perhaps the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon, another fan favorite. You will also see spikes on the price of discontinued sets on eBay in addition to scarce supply of existing sets around the holidays.
