Twitch is announcing a new promotion for Amazon Prime members called Free Games With Prime. Starting on March 15, Amazon Prime subscribers will be able to claim up to five free games each month that will likely be attached to your account as long as you have a subscription to Amazon Prime.

Similar to Xbox Games with Gold or PlayStation Plus free monthly titles, these games are targeted at the PC gaming community. Presumably, you will have to claim and download each game during the month it’s offered. Batches of five games will be replaced once a month. If you happen to miss it, you will have to wait until those games become available again during future months.

This is likely a move to support the launch of new indie games, but there will be some AAA titles thrown into the mix from time to time. On March 15, the first five games available for download will include Superhot, Shadow Tactics, Tales from Candlekeep, Oxenfree, and Mr. Shifty.

During April, March’s five games will be replaced with Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, Kingsway, Tokyo 42, and Dubwars. This promotion is open to anyone with a Twitch Prime subscription, which basically means you have linked your Switch account to your Amazon Prime account (no cost beyond an Amazon Prime subscription).

It’s also possible that these games will be tied into your digital games purchases on Amazon, thus allowing your Amazon Prime subscription to lapse shouldn’t impact your ability to download titles if you are an intermittent, monthly Prime subscriber.
