Amazon Prime Day is July 11, expect lots of 4K HDTV deals

Kicking off six hours early on July 10, Amazon has officially set a date for the next Prime Day. Running for 30 hours between July 10 at 6 p.m. PT to July 11 at 11:59 p.m. PT, deals across many product categories will flow out every hour.

While Amazon hasn’t released a list of products that will be on sale yet (usually comes out a few days prior to Prime Day), expect to see a barrage of television deals, especially on 4K televisions. Amazon will promoting a deal on their own 4K television as well, the Element 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV and includes built-in Fire TV tech.

In addition, Amazon will be rolling out deals prior to Prime Day, starting just after the July 4th holiday. Those days are themed and are as follows:

  • July 5th: Voice Deals (Amazon Echo Deals)
  • July 6th: Amazon Music
  • July 7th: Prime Video
  • July 8th: Everyday Essentials (Probably Prime Pantry)
  • July 9th: Reading with Prime (Kindle Deals)

Amazon has also launched a few early deals for Prime members as well:

Keep an eye on the Ben’s Bargains feed between the 5th and the 11th. We will be highlighting all the best deals all the way through Prime Day.     The mind boggles as to why Amazon would make potential customers jump through so many convoluted hoops to participate !

    If you are considering using your Fire Tablet to access the sale…forget about it, perhaps teen-aged Gamers are willing to waste precious time and energy in anticipation of presently unknown & vaguely promised deals, but many working adults will simply give this particular hype a pass!
