Eight Minimalist Posters of Vintage Video Games

Developed by graphic designer Ari Martinez, this collection of minimalist posters takes on a group of classic video games from the PC, Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), original Sony PlayStation and the Sega Genesis. Each poster takes an iconic element from each game and incorporates that into the poster design.

The Sonic the Hedgehog poster, for instance, displays the familiar level design seen in Sonic’s world when battling the forces of Dr. Eggman. Other video games adapted into posters include Castlevania, Minecraft, Alex Kidd, Carmageddon, The Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater and The Secret of Monkey Island. He’s also created a couple promotional posters using Sonic and a Minecraft character.
