Awkward Photos: Back to School Edition

First of all, this kid is awesome and I hope he looks back at this photo with pride and not embarrassment. But what’s up with the 4 random toys/props? I’d have to believe a kid who loves Star Wars enough to pose with a lightsaber for their yearbook photo would have more memorabilia to show off.

The cocked visor, the “skater” shirt, the rock star belt buckle…the sweet poses. You just know this guy is now 31, rocking Ed Hardy shirts, and trolling for chicks at 18+ nights at the local club.

Remember how cool it was to play calculator games on your TI-83 Plus back in high school? Well by the looks of it, this guy was actually using his calculator to graph trigonomic functions or whatever and not just playing Drug Wars like everybody else. Good for him.

There are so many pictures that feature this classic 80’s hairstyle, but very few come close to achieving the same height as these gravity-defying bangs.

This guy probably got made fun of a lot in high school, but is now a super successful computer programmer with a hot wife, a couple of kids, a nice house, and totally having the last laugh.

Nothing says “America” like a flag, a Beanie Baby and a “whale tail” (yes, this is a thing). But she should really have a tag-protector on that Beanie Baby if she’s gonna want to sell it on eBay to pay for college someday…

I have my doubts that this one is legit because a) this guy looks like he’s about 40 years old, and b) he’s hugging a giant Pikachu stuffed animal, but either way, it’s hilarious.

This poor girl is clearly very distressed about all those lasers being fired in such close proximity to her head.

This guy’s hair is so amazing it just cannot be contained within the confines of one yearbook photo space. One of the most impressive afros I have ever laid eyes on.

And finally, feast your eyes upon arguably the world’s greatest mullet.
