There are some deals that come and go like ships in the night. And then there are the deals that stick with us, drilling their way into the darkest recesses of our mind, clinging with a fearsome might.

One such deal came to us in the fall of 2009: The Jabba the Hutt Inflatable Adult Halloween Costume for $49 shipped. It was like a bolt from the blue, something so incredible, it could not be forgotten. One commenter (carguydc) exclaimed in amazement: “This is so wrong on [so] many levels.”

Where is Inflatable Jabba now? Has the price on his head gone down since? According to CamelCamelCamel, it has. It dropped to the low, low price of $38  out of season back in April 2011, but the average price has hovered around $60. With a little patience, maybe one day, Inflatable Jabba will be yours for a bargain.
