    If you are a low use individual, such as myself, QVC has this same phone for $170 and it's not refurbished. It comes with a one year contract and 1,500 minutes, 1,500 texts, and 1.5GB of data which is all I need except for the data. I usually have to buy an additional GB or two of data for the year. $10 per GB. Does anyone know if a Tracfone G6 has a custom Tracfone Android 8.0 OS on it or will it be a standard Android 8.0 that gets all of the Android updates.  After one year of the Tracfone service I believe the phone becomes unlocked.

    fyi - Costco has this phone for $189 until 11/26 - Costco doubles the manufacturer's warranty, AFAIK.
