To celebrate the arrival of Sling TV support on the Chromecast, Sling TV is offering new customers a free 2nd Generation Chromecast when you prepay three months of the Sling TV service ($20 / month). The Chromecast sells for $35.

Existing Chromecast owners can get 2 free months of Sling TV (new customers only) through December 31st.

Chromecast 1.0 loses connection all the time when you try to stream youtube. Not sure how this makes me feel getting this thing.

I just got slingtv. I am on the fence on if I will keep. It has lots of issues with picture quality and sometimes it blacks out and has to "catch up". I got 3 months so I could get 50% off of the Roku.

Sling TV is pretty good, I am using it on my chromecast and I don't have to have cable!

I paid full price for this. I suggest that. Sling isn't worth it.
