Although I enjoy the Alexa Assistant. Like many I do worry about privacy issues and would like to know that there were no chance of my conversations being listened to/recorded.

I do not like any device that could be used as a "hot mic". User data should always be Private. Even when used for internal use. Google,
Amazon
, Facebook, Etc., don't care about privacy. Alexa, Siri, Google should have a government mandated MUTE on/off button. And trust me I am usually NOT in favor of any government mandated anything but the tech Lords must be stopped
