There’s a bose app where you can update the firmware. It gives you the option to decide what the left button does. Noise cancellation level or an assistant.

Comes with a nice carrying case, headphone jack if you want connect by analog. Note that the jack going into the headphone is smaller than the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The housing is actually not a metal even though they’ can be cold to the touch. Extremely light and the headband is extremely mailable. Sound quality is notably better than the Sony MK2. But again it does have the pressure on your ears from the noise cancellation when the Sony is less noticeable.

These in theory also protect your ears as well. Since it has ANC that actually requires you to turn up the volume less therefore it’s gentler on your ears.
