Between Two Ferns - The Movie. The interviews were fun, the 'plot' was poor. The unedited interviews (seen elsewhere) just patched together would have been a better product than sewing the interviews together with the plodding storyline. In short; watch the interviews, fastfoward through the rest.
One of the best movies I've seen, ever, is The Assassin. It's Chinese and won a Cannes Film Award for Best Director a year or so ago. Without question, it is the most beautiful movie I have ever seen, with lots of incredible martial arts action. It is a must-see.
Recently I watched "MIB: International", and I just don't want to complain too much comparing it with the previous sequels... Just turned my critical brain off and just enjoyed it.
Captain Marvel (I'm catching up on a lot of Marvel Movies). I thought the movie was a better treatment of the character than she used to get in the comics (back in the Ms. Marvel days).
Watched "ONCE A TIME IN AMERICA" for the 2nd time. Good movie, but being a Sergio Leone film, found parts to be too drawn out and boring. Incidentally, that's Pike St. with the Manhattan Bridge at the end of it. I lived in one of the tenements on the left side of Pike Street between Henry and Madison Streets up thru the 3rd grade in the 50's. Our portion of the block had to make way for a new school.
