Yep, once they hook you, they figure they've got you. Guess they'll find differently, when mine expires, come February.

Yea, I've been debating on cancelling mine. I've had it for so long, but the price has gone up, I don't use the steaming much, and two day shipping is rarely ever two days any more.

Shipping alone during the holidays is work this much per year, and my kids get a few extra shows that aren't on Netflix.

For the number of times I need some small household thing, and don't want to string together $35 of stuff, this pays for itself in shipping alone.

This is a great deal. I use
Amazon
Prime so much that this one time fee has saved me so much in shipping. Plus you get your purchase in two days. If you get this, you will not regret it!

Prime is getting a lot of bad flak lately, but I still believe its worth it for streaming if you have young kids like I do, reading like my wife loves to do, plus love that 2 day shipping, although sometimes it is stretched to 3.

I love prime because of the video game discount, And free release day delivery.
Completely makes up that much money in like 3 mos.
And with the
Amazon
credit card tied to the account I get an additional 5% cash back on my statements.
Annnnnnd I get twitch prime so I get a free sub to my favorite streamer.

So absolutely worth it for that alone for me.
I don't even use the streaming facet at all.

An unexpected perk of Prime: I just watched The Highlander on Prime Movies, and that version had an extra scene where McCloud guns down a ****, which wasn't on my old VHS copy. It came as quite a surprise.

So if you needed an extra reason, there's that. Or you could look it up on youtube.

As others have said, 2 day shipping is hardly 2 days anymore...

Love
Amazon
prime, but need to take advantage of all the possible deals and perks (2 day hipping, subscribe and save, streaming, etc) to get your money back. Basically they are offering your first year for the previous price.

Can't imagine giving up Prime...they keep adding features to it, but truthfully I really only use it for the two-day shipping. Seems like they'd give loyal, long-term subscribers a break once in a while instead of just new subscribers.

While I have Prime primarily for the shipping, their online streaming library is pretty robust. Lots of the HBO catalog (I think stuff that's either ended or older than 3 years is the general rule of thumb). Their TV originals are really good to, The Man in the High Castle and Bosch are my favorites.

Have been a prime customer for a year, primarily for 2 day shipping. I do like the video's and their selection of streaming content is uniquely different from Netflix, so there is very little overlap. That allows for some interesting shows I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

Amazon
Prime is totally worth full price, so that makes deals like this sweeter.

Go Prime or go home. Er, I'm already at home, that's why I like Prime. Stuff delivered to my door and I don't even have to go out and get it. Yeah me!
