I've owned the XYZ Printing item listed here, for about three years now, and it's a workhorse. A superb printer. You can get it free if you buy a bunch of rolls of their plastic in advance. A delight for beginners, but beware it's a slightly slow printer, it doesn't have a huge amount of memory, and it's resolution is good but not great. It's no super hero, it's for starting your education in 3D printers. It's highly capable for the price. It can do most of what a $3k 3D printer can do! It just takes a slight bit of fumbling around with XYZ's proprietary spool of plastic which is so-so at times. When their filament gets moist at ALL, it sucks in the moisture in the air and is ruined. So you MUST keep all filament protected 100% from air moisture, even in dry California. I've had to bake filament at a very low temp to get the moisture out of it, when it's still brand new! So if filament is breaking, just bake it 20 minutes at a barely hot temp, so it doesn't melt.
