If you believe reviews on this, yes it is shuckable. More importantly though, these are always shuckable in the desktop size for modern drives. There is no need to ask even though it is always the first question on deal sites for some reason. No clue what is in there though. Used to be white helium drives but I haven't ordered one in a while. Not sure if this supports pwdis and you need to tape a sata pin(s) for your usage so maybe Google that yourself just in case. Most raid enclosures don't care though. Doesn't seem to be SMR based on performance reviews but also worth investigating if you're serious about a purchase. Pretty sure WD discloses that clearly now after being shamed after the discovery. This is most likely a WD140EMFZ inside but I don't know for certain. If it DOES contain that drive, it's a white helium drive with PWDIS and a 5400rpm platter speed. I have some of these (different size obv) and they are excellent drives. Fast, quiet, and not thirsty for power.
* And for the old comment on these - EasyStore is just the Best Buy branding of an Elements drive, basically the same drive.
