Walmart is offering a 15-day free trial of Walmart Plus, its new unlimited free delivery service (including groceries) and Amazon Prime competitor. Effective earlier this month, Walmart Plus no longer requires a free shipping minimum (previously $35+).

Get a full 30 days free if you order 3 survey questions after sign-up.

The service is $98 / year or $12.95 / month.

The new Google Pay app (free to install) is offering $30 off the annual subscription price of $98. After you set up the app, click the "Explore" button to see "Google Pay favorites" and the Walmart+ promotion. Click "Activate" button and enroll an eligible card.

If Walmart would have free curbside pickup without minimums like Sam's, I might would try. With Sam's Plus, you get that, free shipping without minimums and discounts on restaurants and gasoline. We have used Amazon Prime and Sam's Plus regularly since Covid.

no point in getting this deal, your order something and then they'll just cancel the order because they'll tell you it's out of stock and you'll end up getting it on Amazon anyway probably at a better price

Boggles my mind they sold Vudu. They could have directly competed with Amazon if they just took Vudu, tweaked it a little, then bundled it with Walmart +. Epic fail.

Sams wanted to compete with Costco...complete store remodel...fresh, EXPENSIVE (Wagyu), meats and seafood...complete failure...meat counter staffed by bottom of the barrel folks....HORRIBLE customer service..."We DON'T GIVE A CHIT ABOUT YOUR "EXPERIENCE" employees...epic fail, within 9 months they gave up...found a lot of Wagyu in the "reduced for quick sale" pile...lol...~$7 pound:)

Apparently, the plan to take on Costco didn't start with a trip to Costco to see why high income people shop there...you know, the folks that will pay $30/lb for steaks...
