I have been a Prime member for years. And I will tell you.......without the free TV I doubt I would keep it. I mean, if you need something bad enough you run out and buy it. If not, 2 day, 3 day, 5 day, whatever, right? These services are great for people who live in the country away from a city. I will say though......my experiences with WM customer service have been no less positive than with And you can throw Macys and Bloomingdales and PayPal in there as well.

A lot of times it's cheaper to buy from , no minimum free shipping, and if you use its store card you get 5% back. If I found something cheaper in Wally or Best Buy or any where I can come and pick up, I will. I hope Wal-Mart and others will really compete with to keep the membership down. Having said that, should I signup for three stores? Unlikely. All things considered, I will only keep the best, IMHO. BTW, trial is good, I agree.
What are the supposed benefits of this? Mobile-scan-and-go? No eligible items at "this store". (uh huh) Free next-day and two-day shipping: what happens if fails or makes the shipping time long? Nothing. Free delivery from your store: had a bad experience having to sign the grubby phone of the carrier 3 times and tipping? I'd rather pick up myself and go through self-checkout. Gas discount? Maybe? If you live in the few locations...
