This one is cheap and doesn't have blue tooth, but the Panasonic ones can pair up with your phones so you can use your cell lines with the phones. Mine can pair up with 2 cell phones.
Yeah, I have a landline. It's included in my cable/internet/phone bundle basically free with unlimited long distance. This is a great deal. I've had this brand in service for several years and it's still working great. Might buy this just to keep if one of the batteries finally fails since this price is in the range of a replacement battery (if I can find one).
Went into best buy the other day to compare prices to pair with my obihai. For a 3 phone setup, this price seem better than best buy and s website. Good job.
VTech cordless are S*. I agreed with Panasonic & the blue-tooth link to cell feature, but depend where it made. Some are made in china & malaysia, malaysia version is the one you wants.
Are we in the 90's? I haven't owned a land line since 2000... I realize that remote areas would probably need one, but for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would pay for a cell phone and a landline unless it was absolutely necessary.
If you do have a landline, a cordless set like this is nice to use with VOIP (I have Ooma) so you have just one phone plugged into the Ooma and don't have to rewire the house for the other handsets.

MagicJack - $49 one-time charge, never a bill thereafter. If you have decent internet (~5mbps) but are rural, then a cell phone is not a reasonable option or doesn't get decent reception in all parts of the house. VOIP and a decent phone usually offer much better call quality as well.

You must have been grandfathered in. Magicjack now charges $35 a year.
