They're cancelling the orders due to the pricing error - don't waste your time

I called
Amazon
yesterday about the validity of this deal, and if one actually gets all of those blankets, and was told there was a mistake in the way they advertise this item. The price is a per unit price, not for a pallet full of blankets.

Amazon
cancelled my order

Guess no tacky ghost costumes for hughes' kids. But plain white sheets might not be that great during this social climate.

my order says it was shipped out last night. thought it was a mistake until the Logistics Company called this morning asking where they wanted this dropped off and it would require a forklift. i dont have one, so i had to cancel the order. they required a $250 ship back fee. now you see what this is costing me.....good grief

@ marxyboy

>>"Yes, it's exactly like that, if the store in your neighborhood put a sign out front saying "Store Open, Please Come In, Take What You Want," with the name of a specific piece of loot on it that you might want, and they left a sign-up sheet underneath so they could ship the loot straight to you, and actually they were exchanging money for the loot even if you didn't think it was the correct amount of money, and wait a minute it's starting to sound like this isn't much like that at all. "

You seem to be lost and confused in the specifics of your false comparison. My analogy points to looters capitalizing on an honest mistake. whereas your scenario tries to make it appear that
Amazon
intentionally invited and sanctioned looting of their own store - which is obviously not the case. It was no doubt a computer glitch or someone's data entry mistake, the operative word there obviously being "mistake".

So you're right - not at all looking like the analogy you're trying to propose.

It reminds me of some people I knew that were trying to scam Kryptonite Corp with phony bike thefts to scam them into giving payouts, then becoming angry when Kryptonite wouldn't honor their phony scam, as if they were being abused by a big corporation.

"not at all looking like the ***ogy you're trying to propose."

lol, bensbargains thinks the word "anology" (the 3rd letter properly being an "a"), contains some offensive language. What happens if you talk about a breast pump ?" (bee are eee aye sss tee)
