Do yourself a favor; buy a small solar system or use your electrical power supplier(your house) and buy a set of MAHA PowerEx batteries for all the stuff you keep batteries in 24/7 and buy backup sets. the initial outlay will pay for itself within 6-12 months and you are good to go.

AA-AAA NiMh batteries have low (1.2V) voltage, not all applications can handle it.
Li-Ion non-rechargeables **** in capacity.
