Is this kickstart plan good for 1 year? Then regular pricing rates after?

I switched from Sprint to Straightalk(verizon) and again to Visible(verizon). Bought the S9 from them since they have the $200 card. No problems since. Use this referral code to save an additional $20. tLwHv. Unlimited everything, even Hotspot. Supposed to throttle bandwidth to 5mbps, which is fine for me but my speed tests are showing me 20-90. I'm happy with $40/month

Live in CA - Bayarea. Family of 4 with Sprint for four years....horrible service, reception, etc. Family constantly complained. Wife in downtown SF, kids spread out in bay area for school Nothing but complaints for the four years. Switched to Tmobile last year, all complaints stopped. Wife is happy, kids are happy. Night vs Day...never again with Sprint. No thank you, no matter the offer.

It just depends where you're at. I originally had T-mobile, but after a few years something changed and all our calls started dropping constantly. Switched to Sprint, have had no problems since. A few years back got on the Framily plan, and now get unlimited talk and text and 1 gig of data for $30/month on each phone.

My wife travels overseas a lot, and Sprint is extra nice because international texting and data is included for no additional charge. Calls are 25c / minute, but who calls anymore? Hah.

There are places I go where the signal isn't great, but it'll do. My buddy has Verizon and his signal is usually better in those places, but his plan is 4x as much, so I'm okay with it. Every little bit helps.

Only if you switch from an carrier they deem worthy enough to give you that rate. Main caveat.

I guess it really depend on where you live like with most services. I think you should go on cricket if you want a cheap plan. $120 for 4 lines unlimited data. They are on ATT network. So if ATT is good in your area, that is the way to go.

I used to have T-Mobile and they were kick *** for the value. 6 lines plus Netflix for $140 total. 90% of the time, perfect connection. My wife and kids found some dead spots so now I am paying $250 with ATT for 4 lines plus HBO to go.

BTW, I tried Sprint around my area (Bay Area). It sucked 90% of the time. Static calls, dropped calls, you name it. It is like they were a cellphone startup. Remember their commercial with the pin drop? Only if it was amped up on a Marshall stack 10 feet away.

Why i still pay 25 when i am using redpocket 20$ per month and it's will not going up year by year like other companies
And if it goes up i will switch to other company like that price like (Mint sim or others)

I've never had great success with TMobile in the US Southeast, nor when using the same sim overseas in Europe. Consumer Cellular AT&T sim is the ticket. Great price great reception. Overseas, I just buy a local sim card when I get there for a data plan and make all my calls and texts via Google voice US phone number. No issues.

I have Cricket for $35/month with auto pay (total, including taxes and everything) and it works well for me. Unlimited everything with 5Gb high-speed data (but no overage fee, just de prioritization) which is more then enough and I know I won't ever pay more than $35.

My son's first phone we used Redpocket Mobile via
eBay
(I paid for one year which came out to $9/month) with limited mins/data. I used a Sprint Samsung S6 and it was great for him. He is now on a Sprint Free BYOP deal (unlimited everything and he's happy and has a newer phone.

For those folks complaining in the CA, Bay Area I was not happy with Sprint for quite a few years. I still have deadspots esp. in this area that has my library/grocery/church, but it has gotten better. My other son is going to need a phone this year so I'll be on the hunt for the best Android 4 line family plan on any network.

The one great advantage Sprint is the free Int'l text/data. We are overseas often and texting is great to find each other. I rarely use the data, but it's good to know we have it. I'd rather be vacationing than being on my phone anyway.
