Update: The iOS version is now available as well! Full details on The Checkout.

We've launched the official Ben's Bargains mobile app for Android and iOS! The Android version can be downloaded on the Google Play store today.

The app adds Deal Alert mobile notifications as a new feature. Rather than just receiving an email alert, we can send you a mobile notification to jump on a deal that's just been posted.

Other features include the Favorites & Recently Viewed section, search and filter functionality as well as everything that comes with a Ben's account (leaving comments, comment voting, etc.).

This is version 1.0 of the app, compatible with Jelly Bean (4.0.3 and up) and version iOS 7 and up. For version 1.1 of the app, we are planning to add deal box info like price history, the Amazon price, and the shopping compare tool.

We would love to hear feedback / suggestions on the app! We will be continuing to improve it over time. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Okay, I just mailed you airline tickets and a big moving van. :P

Kidding aside, there has to be some way you can get onto a US proxy or VPN or something to masquerade as being in the US?

The other more risky option is get the app from a 3rd party then sideload it. For example here's one source for Android that claims they're 100% safe because they compare it against the Google Play (current) version:
