^ Yeah not sure how that works out if it's defective because a product has to function as intended unless sold "as is", an other than new state. It's also inconsistent that lists a 1 year warranty while the manufacturer lists 2 years, provides contact info and claims "100% satisfaction guarantee".
^ I've had 3rd party carts work fine and others worse but usually it was either a drum or seal issue, more often drum. If the present cart isn't leaking I generally prefer to use bulk toner to refill them myself, then get a new OEM cart every (n)th time then start refilling it again.
Fortunately many Brother printers including the models using this cart, have a separate drum so you aren't gambling on the state of the drum in the cart.
