$5.99
Google Play has The Interview HD Movie Rental for $5.99. It's also available to rent on Youtube Movies and through Xbox Videos (iTunes has decided not to offer it).

In case you've been living under a rock, this is the Seth Rogen and James Franco film that has been at the center of the North Korea Sony hack. The film was pulled from theaters but it was announced today it would be available online.

Google's rationale on Twitter for making it available: "Our mission is to make the world's information accessible -- yes, even Seth Rogen movies."

If seeing this movie pisses off a little runt commie dictator in a police state that starves half of its population, I'm all for it. I don't care how crappy the movie is.

It was cheesy but pretty funny. The only pisser is that it is 480p in browser and even watching through YT on on Fire TV, but it's 1080p on Chromecast, go figure.

They should hack a good movie like Sharknado 3.

when other studios see how well this viral marketing worked, every new awful movie that comes out will be in the same boat.

people will fall for anything, apparently.

Saw the movie. Expected it would ****. Laughed. Franco wasn't terribly annoying.
