Good price, just wish it had magnetic bits. I have one that is not magnetic, and I feel that should be standard on these. What would it cost, another dollar?

Do not try and hold the screw. That is impossible.
I believe they make electric screwdrivers like these non-magnetic for safer disassembling of sensitive electronic equipment. If this helps, you can buy a bit magnetizer and have it both ways https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Precision-Magnetizer-and-Demagnetizer-3601H/302880580 - limit_voodoo
I have one of those bit magnetizers, but they don't give much holding power after using it.
I prefer to stick a small rare earth magnet on the bit when I need magnetism. For small screws, it is just so much nicer not to worry about dropping them, both when removing and attaching.
Ordered and received yesterday. The bit locking mechanism on the one I got was stuck in the open position and wouldn't close to lock. Worse is that the open position wasn't open enough and wouldn't allow the bit to seat all the way. I tried to make some adjustments but mine simply seems defective because the guide slot for the small wire that holds the bit isn't a uniform width. Sending this back today. Otherwise the drill motor and torque was fine.

Instead only try to realize the truth.
There is no screw.

Thank you!
