Bought!! I rarely watch sports so this is perfect. Even when I do I don't feel the 60hz. Plus I have TCLs and they've worked well. Just in case others were on the fence I thought I'd post me thoughts.
Just picked this up yesterday. Fast (early) review:
Seemed a little sluggish at first, after performing an update things improved.
UI is nice, responsive and clean. Can also edit the apps and order on the home screen.
Sound is average at best, a little on the hollow/tinny side.
Decent viewing angles, no issues off to the side.
Picture mode is defaulted to "low Power", you need to change that to get a better picture.
Tested "Movie", Vivid, and HDR display modes. Picture is above average in 4k uhd content.
All in all for 500 bucks its a good deal, and performs as it should. Does not compete with my LG but I didn't expect it too. If your expectations are realistic, at this price you shouldn't be disappointed. That said, I would not buy this TV at full price. I would spend the extra cash on an LG or Samsung.

Your quote is inaccurate. (If your referring to my post as I did say 3/5) I did not however say its a "Decent" TV for $500. I stand by my words, and I don't have a Yelp page.
