Or, you know, wait 6 months, and get it for the newly lowered price that will happen, once the initial rush is over...
Interesting take considering the $40 NES Classic is still going for over $100 on , and Nintendo announced they are stopping production soon. Unfortunately, you're wrong.

Nintendo will resume production of the NES Classic in 2018. It would be unwise for them not to do the same for the SNES Classic as well soon after.

Had it in my cart and was in process of checking out, but as soon as I hit "Place Order" - out of stock!! Literally was on top of it...we're talking seconds or fraction of...sigh...poor management of this entire debacle!
You cannot enter a zip code in either the app or website to search for another store, also. Something is clearly broke. Poor execution and pitiful online shopping experience/administration!!
Evidently I got lucky. I kept refreshing the page...mostly out of frustration and finally was able to get another one back in my cart and successfully check out. Just got a shipping confirmation, so after standing in line on launch day only to have the person in front me snag the last one - I'm grateful.
So instead of store fixing the system or even at least adding in CAPCTHA-like system...
(google about how scalpers paid for software that can automate the check-out in seconds, making the SNES classic go out of stock. However, developer of the software states that his software can be stopped by CAPCTHA)
... they decided that to just make purchasing the SNES classic to exclusive members? Great move, :|
It doesn't seem to matter though because comments are stating it's already sold out.
