Good luck fighting the bots on these. One bot company secured 3500 PS5 units the last time. Greedy bastards. I hope their warehouse goes up in flames. These retail companies need to block these bots and only allow 1 per IP address or something.
The ps5 does have some nice tech improvements. The controllers, while a bit heavier, have feedback triggers that will be amazing in future exclusives. The sound was also an immediate improvement. Playing warzone on the ps5 I could immediately hear the difference. I imagine pc players would be used to the imaging, but it’s a step up for PlayStation. That said don’t fret too much if you can’t secure one immediately. Most big games are cross gen and there aren’t any giant exclusives yet that you’ll miss out on. Cyberpunk might be the only reason to scramble for next gen atm. You can still chat and play with friends on the ps4 and visa versa. Good luck either way, just don’t buy from scalpers. It’s not worth it and will only continue this problem in the future.
I cannot tell you what to do but I can try to advise. Both consoles are not worth more than MSRP $500. The PS5 exclusives are not even that great. Demon Souls is a remake which is probably the best one. Miles Morales may be 1st or 2nd but its like spider man DLC. Godfall is not good. Being able to load your games faster is GREAT. So is the bump in graphics if you have a compatible TV. But these things are 100% not worth paying a scalper for. Especially when in a few months you will be able to walk into a store and pick one up.
9 PM EST. I got two "put in cart buttons" for PS5 to take me to a verify you are human check box only to go no where. Xbox I got add in cart to a direct out of stock message. LOL. I know... "There are actual bot net companies hoarding stock with javascript checkout bots that try to check out 10 times a second." That is what a normal human is up against. Good Luck.
Bummer- several times it let me add to cart and continue all the way through check-out--- and then a "sorry, out of stock" type of message when I hit the final purchase button.
Very limited quantities. Ridiculous. Added to cart, check out, get to final place order and out of stock. F'n horrible experience again. Same thing happened last time.. Shitty sales/paper launches. These companies, Nvidia. Microsoft, Sony, AMD, should be fined for these paper launches and not providing enough for people to purchase. should be kicked in the balls for letting everyone add to cart, complete the process and not have **** for inventory when you click place order after entering all your information.
