The single USB-C port will fail, because corporate users use that port every day with docking stations. They just wear out.
The battery will fail at or around the three year mark. Check your battery health. If it says anything but "Excellent", you'll have to buy a replacement battery soon.
7th Gen systems can be finessed into running Windows 11. I'm not suggesting that's a good idea. Just saying it CAN be done.
All of our systems are configured for a single m.2 drive only. But my understanding is there was a configuration that could accommodate a 2.5" SATA drive. Lucky you if you get one of those, they also take a smaller battery.
