I have one of these...nice spreader, but be aware that it will ONLY accommodate the Scotts fertilizer products in the containers that are specifically designed for it, which generally cost more. It's like buying a cheap but decent printer that only runs on expensive replacement cartridges that you're limited to.

Yeah there has to be a way to refill it with seed or fertilizer of similar grain size.
