These have worked for me - rock solid - but they can manufacture them cheaper than platter HDs - so when are they going to stop ripping us off?

It's a name brand so expect to pay more for them. They have to justify their stock prices to their stock holders.

The gap is getting more narrow, below 5 to 1 now, when 10 to 1 was common. I bet it will narrow further, but settle closer to 2.5 to one, and not get cheaper than spinning HD.
