I'm currently seeing the $117 with free shipping, but no local delivery from store or pickup. This will probably sell out soon.
Nice price, Dyson wanted $100 + S/H for a replacement battery alone, so instead, I bought a Ryobi battery adapter for the Dyson, already having some Ryobi 4Ah packs.
However Samsung wants $130 for a battery and being a less popular brand in the stick vac market, I doubt anyone will make an adapter for these.
It could make a lot of sense to buy two of these to get a 2nd battery, then make sure to keep some charge in the 2nd one so the charger doesn't lock it out from low discharge before you actually need it.
When it comes time to replace or rebuild the battery, IDK if Samsung builds a lockout circuit into the packs like Dyson does, or whether you could just DIY replace the cells in the battery at lower cost. There's a firmware for the Dysons to remove the lockout, but too much hassle to reprogram just to rebuild the packs anyway, when there are 3rd party battery adapters for them.
^ If you run a stick vac on high, it eats batteries. If you don't run it on high, it takes a lot longer to vac. My Dyson would run on low for about 10 minutes once the battery had some wear, but put it on high and it refused to run more than a few seconds.

Thank you!
