^ Yes, last year around Christmas, Dell was offering the 32" Samsung smart 1080p for around this price, maybe it was only $225 but still 32" to 40" increase is very noticeable for uses like a bedroom set.
I have this exact TV in my bedroom mounted to the wall. It's beautiful and the picture very clear. Only gripes are a lack of many input ports and the sound can be a bit low. Grab a sound bar and you'll be happy. At this price, it's a no brainer.
Normally I dont get encouraged to buy something that you need to consider a gift card as part of the price reduction, This time of the year though, just give the card away as a gift!
It's moronic to suggest that this one shortcoming, if you want to call it that, somehow nullifies the deal. We've truly become spoiled when we grumble about paying such a small sum for a set which would, just a short time ago, have cost many multiples more. The issue with the HDMI inputs can be easily overcome with any number of HDMI switches available at Monoprice, , and elsewhere.
