I recently purchased this one - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/gourmia-2-2-qt-digital-air-fryer-black/6261224.p (thanks, Ben's Bargains!) - due to its price and great reviews. I've owned & used a Fry Daddy for years and always wondered about using an air fryer for cooking unhealthy stuff like French fries & tater tots. This air fryer is MUCH quicker, MUCH cleaner to use, MUCH easier to clean up, and probably uses less electricity than a deep fryer. The results aren't quite as sinfully delicious as the deep-fried tater products, but the results are more than acceptable and MUCH healthier, I know.
While the basket capacity of this specific Gourmia unit is only 2.2 quarts, it's larger than I anticipated and more than adequate for one person/serving. I wasn't going to spend $100 on an air fryer, but $40 is a good deal. I'm glad I purchased an air fryer with a digital screen rather than a manual dial. While this Rosewill air fryer has a slightly larger basket capacity, I'd buy the Gourmia model for the same $40.
