This is a semi pro kit, Roland is know for making the best "digital drum kits" and has been the innovator for decades. This kit is even good for working musicians too. Not exactly cheap but you get what you pay for with this.
Bought my daughter a Roland e-drum set last Christmas. She loves it. It’s a model beneath this particular one. Very impressive in terms of sound, quality and playability. Benefit is 1) can control the volume level for in-house use, 2) can cheaper than buying real drums (depending on the brand/level of quality). Both Roland and Simmons make good speakers to match this kit.
This is a screaming deal for an amateur or aspiring drummer. I have the older version of this kit and love it. Roland makes the best electronic drum sets...especially with their patented mesh drum heads. This kit rarely goes on sale.
Agree with the above posts. Well worth it for the price. I bought when was not on sale and still think i Got a decent deal. Less space than conventional, all the return!
