This has never been a deal the last two times... Nvidia and their AIB's need to step-up! Why this when it trades blows with much less expensive RX570 and neither are by today standards just "more-or-less entry 1080p" (with just 3Gb memory especially) for $160. I can't find a great reason to limit oneself to this single fan that like still full length? I'm sure this isn't like any dual fan Top Shelf GTX 1060 3Gb and the 10-12% core overclock while 11-13% memory overclock you could get.
You can get this nice Dual Fan XFX RX 570 8Gb for $140 -AR$20 w/FS and the Free 2 game package. I would say buy that and OC it not have any memory buffer concerns, while have the best B-F-B.
As soon as I saw there was a comment I clicked, I knew it was you @Casecutter, you have been missed! Not a lot of GPU's on sale these days (That haven't already been posted).
This GPU is highly rated, super quiet, seamless and one of the coolest running GPU's I have ever used. PNY is underrated in my humble opinion.
I like the single fan better (if done right) less power consumption, quieter and, when made right; much cooler cause it uses less to run at a constant.
I really like the 570/580/590's I have played with, but they are HUGE. not as quite and, ran into quite a few fan and quality issues.
Again this is all my opinion and therefore anecdotal.
Avoid single fan cards. If one fan goes you'll hear it and and can start trolling FleaBay for a replacement. Dual fans should produce less noise at load.
