I have a few of these and they're great. I only buy them when they go on sale, though. $6.97 in my area is OK but it could be better. I think I'll wait...
Great price. You can't go wrong with philips. Please avoid the unknown brands that HD offers. when you have to replace bulbs in the future they often no longer carry the size or light quality you desire.
in CT, some Costcos have LED (and CFL) light bulbs subsidized by CLP. A lot cheaper than these...but these don't look like a bad deal if you can get them less than 4 bucks a piece.
got this, $4.47 central jersey. works great, bright warm color, brighter than the ge 13w energy saving bulb we got last year.
instant on, no need to wait.
these are nice bulbs, i think there was recently a writeup in family handyman or something like that. I haven't made the jump the LED yet, waiting for larger price drop. It will happen
Buying these at $9/ea is WAY cheaper than using old incandescent bulbs and cheaper than CFL too. Try the calculator here: http://www.ledwaves.com/led-calc.html
Over six years, each LED bulb will save you over $100.
If you run the calc for replacing CFL instead, these LED will still save you money (albeit not boatloads) over the years..
"Too much money" is not an excuse; it's just wrong. How can a net savings be too much money?
Some people don't get math.

That calculator isn't very accurate. Yes LED bulbs can often save money over CFL (but not T8 fluorescent) and always do over incan but the difference is much much lower than the calculator suggests for CFL unless the light is frequently turned on and off to lower CFL lifespan to the very low span they suggest.

Why the prices are different between states?
