Meh deal. Historically, Penn has made some good stuff. This seems to be the latest generation of the SS5500 on a 7' One Piece MH rod. The 7' Battle 2 Combo at West Marine for $129 is a better deal.

Also, check out the Fin Nor Lethal spinning reels. Good quality at a good price. The LT100 is a tremendous reel if you have a need for one that big.
