I am a bit disappointed in Make magazine. Its reviews are not in usable depth; its construction articles are not detailed and tend to focus on stylistic elements. It seems to be more a gallery depicting Maker projects with varying detail about them, peppered with lightweight articles on the tools. Still, it is to my knowledge about the only printed popular magazine on the subject, and this offer is well below its usual (excessive) subscription price.
