I was so happy to get rid of Comcast that company is pure evil. Make sure you read the small type because I guarantee they bake in a way to screw you. And if they offer this deal to you it's likely because a more competitive service will become available in your area soon so they want to lock you into their inferior overpriced garbage.

Agreed. I was stuck with them since 2008. Once the price lock is over, the total will keep creeping up a few dollars at a time. I was paying $100 for service, but the taxes and fees made the total almost double. I switched to Sonic and get 10 gigabit for a lower price. When I spoke with Xfinity to cancel, they didn't even offer a deal to try and get me to stay.
Anyone interested go look at all the customer complaints about billing issues, constant technical problems, and canceling headaches on the official Comcast_Xfinity Reddit comment section. This company has outsourced the customer service and tech service people that hardly show for appointments. Avoid this company.
Worst company ever. They had a monopoly on internet service in my area for years and was stuck with them until another provider became available. Non-existent customer service, frequent rate hikes. They do not give you the internet speed you’re paying for; use an online speed test to check and see for yourself.
