Well it's a nice AIO package and has some nice extra features, like (what I believe) an option as they say "Motion Detection Available in Parking and Event Recording Modes". Sure it's pricey, but here's my issue it's a "gripable lub" that screams... I'm here for my smash and grab! You lose a side window and a complete $185 system.
Wouldn't it be smarter if the camera was separate and housed in a non-graspable armored shell that attaches (bolts) super-well to the upper widow frame. Then just a cable to the rest of the recorder (black box) that hides in the glove box or better under the dash. It would make it much less tempting than this set-up.
