Careful. "GPS" model that does not include any "map" capability. Im not sure what the GPS is used for? (land speed? way points? no idea, but it would not be over laid onto a map)

Methinks you expect too much for a paltry $99. I say this is a heck of a deal - with great features and cutting edge technology from a recognized leader in the industry. I'm definitely in for one, and am glad that Ben posted it. Lowrance offers a version of this model that has the map feature you desire. To expect that (feature) for $99 though is out of touch with reality.
