I’ve had this mower for the past 2 years. It’s a great mower EXCEPT when your grass is waaaaaaay overgrown (which my grass often is). Just be sure to mow often and you’re set!
I love Honda engines. Owned many and never had to do more than oil and filter. Always premium gas and Mobil One 0-40 synthetic oil in everything. Start easy and run quieter than most. They were in a league of their own for many years. I hear Kawasaki makes good ones but never had one, B&S Vanguard are supposed to clean sheet designs to compete with Honda, time will tell. Kohler I guess is ok in cold weather apps like snow throwers but I generally avoid them. As with most things these day you gotta be good to stay in the game. Honda just makes good products.
Be careful with MaxTool!!! Shady crooks. I thought I bought a generator through them. They claimed they couldn't deliver it. Kept half of the money I paid for the generator due to fine print. No response to emails/calls. Pretty good racket if you're not on the losing end
^Yes! Next time U can use PP but instead of cash, link it to a CC then U have 2 courses of protection. My lawnmowers' engines are never a problem; Hon., B&S or Suzuki (old Toro mowers - 20+ yrs. old!). Its the SP drives, carbs and linkages that are problems.
