I'm looking to do rain collection to water garden this year. Anybody have one of these that can tell me if it would work for that purpose? - sjaxkingpin
Depends on how you intend to collect the rain. Most people find it more convenient to use a rigid plastic barrel attached to their home's gutter downspout, which has, or you add a faucet tap to the bottom, and a tight fitting top to keep mosquitoes out, but one with an air valve so air escapes as the water comes in, and vice-versa.
