I use these in conjunction with APC ups battery backups. They allow me to plug in big, bulky power adapters due to the spacing on the ups.

Received mine today ahead of the Dec 30th to Jan 5th ETA estimate. Middling quality - not junk but feels hollow, press fit together instead of solid molded plug/socket. Should be fine for up to mid-current devices.
