most ppl are getting battery powered mowers now.
they are more $ but much better. the Ego- 21 inch is a direct Gas to Battery replacement and is light as a feather and you can fold it up or hand it on your wall when not in use.
^ Why would I want to hang on my wall, something covered in grass, plus sticky green goo and mud around this time of year?
I just don't see paying nearly twice as much to do the same job when there's no reason it would cut any better nor last as long. Plus the product weight on that Ego- 21 is listed as 69.5 lbs (push) or 78.8 lbs (self propelled), even if some of that is the cardboard box it comes in, that can't be much of it so it isn't much lighter than a basic push power, even heavier than some. The featured Sears mower is 73 lbs.
I don't have steep hills so I find a non-propelled removes a typical failure point rather than feature. Leaning into one, it practically pushes itself.
