I had the same problem. BB sends promo code but redeeming offer from google takes you to a page where there's no $20 credit. Called google and they said to give it a week for the $20 offer to appears. if it doesn't, call back.
yeah looks like this IS only 1 20$ credit. I picked one up, got the 20$ email from with the google play credit, but didn't put that in.
Activated the chromcast, checked on the google chromecast OFFERS pages to see what offers I had and it only listed the other offers and NOT the 20$ google play offer.
I'm sure the bestbuy 20$ credit from the email will work, but almost certainly NOT the one that would have should have come from google directly..
So, I think this is bunk and for 32$ with tax, getting 20$ play credit IMHO certainly not as juicy.
I have a Roku 3 and an Fire Stick. My brother has a Chromecast & I've played with it quite a bit. Out of the 3, my favorite is the Roku 3. There's just way more options, channels, etc. I love being able to plug a flash drive into the Roku 3 instead of streaming from another device as well.

I purchased one a couple days ago from BB and received the promo code. I haven't redeemed it yet (nor has the Chromecast arrived), but I also see the $20 offer at chromecast.com/offers (must be redeemed by 12/21/2014). Are you saying that if I enter the promo code from BB that it will remove the option to get $20 through the 'offers' page?
What do you think would happen if I applied for the $20 credit at chromecast.com/offers BEFORE redeeming the code from BB? Might it work then?
Based on your conversation with Google, it sounds like they will honor both $20 credits, though one may take a few days to process. Is that your understanding?
Now that this was was acknowledged as previously an incorrect listing, I just realized that I just got burnt ... and I already spent some of the $20. Is there any recourse at this point?
What a waste. I only bought this because of the promised $40 worth of Google Play credit. Not a great deal otherwise. Please check facts better before posting deals in the future.
I find BB's website for this a bit confusing. They list a $20 Google Play credit as one of the "Special Offers". They also list a $20 credit as a "Free Bonus Item". The "Free Bonus Item" $20 is obviously a perk from BB. The "Special Offer" seems more like an offer from Google after you actually set up your Chromecast.

Thanks!
So did I, and I posted it. The Best Buy listing didn't say it excluded Google's offer. Of course, you can always just return it.
